Privacy Policy
Who we are
Yomibang (“the app”, “we”, “us”) is developed by Georgios Florou, based in Cyprus. If you have any questions about this policy, contact us at support@yomibang.app.
Information we do not collect
We do not collect any of the following:
- Your name, email address, phone number or any other contact details
- The titles, contents or files of anything you read
- Your location
- Advertising identifiers or cross-app tracking data
- Analytics about how you use the app
Your files and reading data
Files you import (such as EPUB, PDF, CBZ or CBR) and the data the app creates about them, such as your library, bookmarks, reading progress and settings, are stored locally on your device. We never upload them to our servers. We do not operate servers that receive this data.
If your device backs up app data through your operating system (for example iCloud Backup on iPhone or Google backup on Android), that backup is handled by Apple or Google under their own privacy policies, not by us.
Files you open from other apps or services
When you import a file from another app or a cloud storage provider (for example Files, iCloud Drive or Google Drive), that transfer happens through your operating system and the provider you chose. Their privacy policies apply to that service.
Crash reports
If you have opted in to share diagnostics with Apple or Google at the device level, they may share anonymous crash reports with us through their developer tools. These reports do not identify you and we use them only to fix bugs.
Children
Yomibang does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country).
Your rights
Because we do not collect or hold personal data about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct, export or delete. You can remove all app data at any time by deleting the app from your device. If you live in the European Economic Area or the UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Changes to this policy
If we add features that change how data is handled, such as optional sync between devices, we will update this policy and the effective date above before those features are released. Significant changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
